Frequently Asked Questions
How is mirror different from upside-down?
Mirror reflects each glyph left-to-right and leaves the word order alone, so the line still reads forward. Upside-down spins every glyph a half-turn and reverses the whole string. One is a reflection, the other a rotation — different axis, different look.
Why are some letters unchanged?
A letter only flips when Unicode has a mirrored glyph for it. Capital letters and the b, d, p, q group reflect cleanly; most lowercase letters and every digit have no mirror image, so they appear exactly as you typed them.
Will this work in usernames?
Display names on many platforms accept the reflected characters, but strict @handle fields that allow only plain ASCII will reject them. Bios, captions, posts and messages are the safest spots — preview on the target app before you save.
Can I combine mirror with other effects?
Not inside this tool, which only reflects. Copy the mirrored output into another generator to layer a second style, or open the Bio Builder where each line can carry its own font for a stacked look.
