Frequently Asked Questions

How many lines can I add?
Up to five. Instagram, TikTok, and X bios are short, so a five-line maximum keeps your output inside every platform's character limit. You always have at least one line — the remove button disappears when only one is left.

Why are some fonts not showing up in my Instagram bio?
A few Unicode blocks (heavy script and some symbol styles) have patchy support on older Android builds, so they fall back to plain letters or boxes on those devices. If a line looks broken on a phone, switch it to Bold Serif or Bold Sans — those use the Mathematical Alphanumeric block, which renders almost everywhere.

Do line breaks work in Instagram bios?
Yes. Instagram has preserved manual line breaks in the bio field since 2019, so the multi-line output you copy here pastes in as-is. TikTok keeps line breaks in the bio too, but collapses them in some caption contexts — preview with the TikTok tab before you paste.

Can I save my bio for later?
Your bio is saved automatically in this browser tab — close and reopen the tab and it is still here. It is stored only on this device with no account, so it will not follow you to another browser or phone. Copy the finished bio somewhere safe if you need it elsewhere.

Will my characters count against the platform's limit?
Yes. Every Unicode codepoint counts as one character on the platform, and some fancy fonts emit more than one codepoint per letter. Each preview tab shows a live counter against that platform's real bio limit and turns red when you go over, so trust the counter rather than the visible length.
