What is Circled Font?
Each letter sealed inside its own thin outlined ring, like tokens on a board game: that is the signature of Circled Font. It draws from the Unicode Enclosed Alphanumerics block, starting at Ⓐ (U+24B6), and extends to numerals which map to ⓪ through ⑨, with zero sitting at its own codepoint U+24EA rather than alongside the others.
Outline Versus Filled Bubble
There is a close cousin worth knowing. This is the outline version, light rings around each character. "Bubble" is the filled or inverted equivalent (🅒 and friends) drawn from different blocks with solid high-contrast discs. Same circular idea, opposite weight. If the airy ringed look feels too faint for a banner, the bubble variant is the bolder sibling to reach for.
A Note On Account Handles
Worth setting expectations early. Social account handles stay ASCII-only on essentially every platform, so you cannot register a username made of these ringed glyphs. Where they work beautifully is the display name, bio, captions and comments. Put ⓛⓔⓥⓔⓛ ⓞⓝⓔ in a profile name field and the rings show; the underlying @handle still has to be plain letters.
Playful And Numbered Uses
The ring motif carries a light, retro-arcade charm, which suits whimsical usernames, game-themed posts and nostalgic aesthetics. Because digits are included, it doubles nicely as a numbering device: steps, rankings or countdowns rendered as ① ② ③ feel decorative without extra effort. ⓣⓞⓟ ③ as a circled label turns a plain list into something that reads as designed.
